Casey Lute, Lead Pastor

Casey and his wife Kelly are Salem natives who long to see the gospel proclaimed through Christ-exalting churches in their hometown. Having served as the Associate Pastor at Bethany Baptist Church in South Salem since 2014, in 2023 he was sent out to help plant Peace Bible Church.

Casey was saved at a young age and studied for the ministry at Western Baptist College (now Corban University). He served as a youth pastor at churches in Woodland, California and Grand Junction, Colorado before returning home, where he later came on staff at Bethany after completing graduate studies through The Master's University. He has also done additional studies at Western Seminary. He has authored one book, edited another, and contributed a chapter to another. 

Having begun dating in college, Casey and Kelly married in 2003 and now have four children. It is their joy to do ministry together. Casey considers it a great honor to have been called to serve as the planting pastor of Peace Bible Church.
