“Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth! We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.”
(Psalm 78:1, 4)
“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”
(2 Timothy 3:14-15)
Peace Bible Church’s vision for our children’s ministry is to bring children to Christ, build them in their spiritual maturity, and equip them for lives of service in the church, community, and world.
We have Sunday School classes for kids every week at 9:15 AM, in the upstairs classrooms at the Boys and Girls Club. Classes will end before our morning worship service, so parents and kids can attend church together. Our elementary-aged Sunday School classes are using The Biggest Story Curriculum.
During the worship service, we have childcare available in our nursery for babies through preschoolers. Parents are welcome to drop little kids off at the nursery or keep them with them during the service. Clipboards with activity sheets and coloring supplies are available for kids to use during the worship service if they would like.
At Peace Bible Church, we are committed to the following guiding principles for our children's ministry:
Awana is a club for kids where they can learn the Bible, hear the gospel, and have fun. We partner with our sister church, Bethany Baptist, in their Awana program. It meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM from October through May. Click here to go to Bethany's website for more info.
